Chances are you and I have a few things in common. We’re starting to get “up there” in age, but we believe age isn’t the limiting factor. It’s our habits that reinforce the undisciplined decline into old age.If you’re like me, you’re not going to let that happen. We both know nothing great happens in our “comfort’ zones. I’m here to tell you it’s not too late to reinvent yourself, regardless of your age or current fitness level.

If you’re still strong in your mind, and have the will to make things happen, I can help you become the best version of YOU, Body, Mind and Spirit.

CYNDI GIBSON

Studio Manager / FTA Certified Personal Trainer

I have often struggled with finding balance in the pursuit of a healthier lifestyle.  Balancing a demanding career and a busy family, I struggled with making the time , putting myself first and getting distracted along the way by the latest fad diet or quick fix.   It wasn’t till I went back to the basic principles I had learned in my 30s that I again was able to see changes.

So what are those basic principles that work every time?    A decision to change.  A decision to put  yourself first.   A sustainable plan.  Consistency and daily effort.  And an acceptance that change doesn’t happen overnight.    You  have to get your mind right and then just trust the process we lay out.  You will be amazed by the changes that come and how physically and mentally strong you will feel.  

In addition to training clients as a Certified Fitness Professional, I also help to manage the operations of the Get Age Fit studios.  With a BS In Health Information Management and 30+ years  in Operations Management and Client Support,  I work hard along side  Get Age Fit Founder Theo Thurston to assure your customer experience is a positive one. 

MICHAEL JONES

After many years of working all over the US and abroad during my career in IT, my wife and I opened an English Style Horse Riding facility in Georgetown, which we operated for over 12 years. 

As a competitive rider and trainer, I used the same principles of technique and position that are so necessary for safe and effective resistance training.  Watching my clients develop and grow as they accomplish their goals is especially gratifying for me.

LENNY JONES

I have been training with weights since I was 15 years old, but became serious and made it a part of my life in my mid-30’s and 40’s.  I am now 61 years old, and through weight training, cardio and balanced nutrition, I keep my body fat between 6% and 8% year round.

My favorite mentor is Bill Phillips creator of Body For Life. I highly recommend reading that book before starting your training.. it is scientifically sound, and incorporates many of the techniques I use with my clients.

As a life long athlete and a true passion for helping others get active.  I know have over 16 years of experience as a fitness professional and love every moment of it.

What I love about the clients and Get Age Fit is the opportunity to lead people into a healthier lifestyle and improving their quality of life. The private, no pressure and supportive environment allows everyone to be comfortable and get the most out of their personal training experience.

I have almost 20 years experience helping people change their lives through both diet and consistent exercise.  I struggled with being overweight for many years and have lost over 250lbs in 50-60lb increments many times over. 

In 2003 I decided to quit dieting, turn my life around and start a journey toward wellness.  I started exercising and moving my body, and combined with healthy nutrition, lost 60 pounds in 2003. I have kept that weight off for nearly 20 years.

COURTNEY STEGALL

IFA Certified Personal Trainer, NPC Bikini Competitior  

Tennis player for 12+ years. In my free time I enjoy working out, surfing, skydiving, golf and any outdoor activities. What I love about Get Age Fit is the opportunity to show people how to live a healthier lifestyle. I love helping our clients transform their bodies, and gain strength and confidence.

CAROLE CALLAHAN

Former elementary gymnastics teacher.  “I have 2 children and 4 grandchildren and I love spending time with them. I enjoy working out, outdoor activities and traveling.  

My favorite part of working with my clients is watching them become more fit, stronger and healthier as they lose excess weight. As part of the Transformation Center family, they also feel comfortable and supported in our unique, “non-gym” training environment.”

I enjoy working out, yoga, biking, swimming, kickboxing, skydiving, anything to get the heart pumping and the blood flowing. I’ve learned that staying active and fueling your body is the most important thing to prioritize as it helps in all areas of your life – – mentally and physically. Training with my dad Theo Thurston for many years has taught me lots of great skills and training techniques. I would love to pass those along to you so I can help you reach your fitness goals and see the self-gratification that comes along with that! Any age or fitness level – all you have to do is stay consistent!
